........I ignored the guilty nagging in my head and cleared out our playroom! I know it sounds bad but it had to be done! This is what we were living with:
I would:
See a cute project I want to try...
Clear the dining room table...
Remove some of my scrapbooking supplies from the closet (very carefully!) as not to knock over the carefully arranged bins...
Sit down at the table...
Five minutes into project...
Realize something I need is at the bottom of the closet (of course)...
Watch in horror as everything on top of what I need comes tumbling down...
Finally get back to the table...
Wait - it's time to pick up the boys from school....
Etc, etc. - you know how it goes...
Before I know it it's dinner time and we're all eating on the couch because our dining room table is covered in supplies.
I decided I just could not work out of a closet any longer. So yes, I'm a bad mom, I hijacked the kids playroom. To be fair they still have some toys in there, we just had to change one important rule. From now on toys must be removed from the playroom, played with, and put back when done. I can just see glitter covering every surface the minute I left them alone in there! Here is what I ended up with:
Work Space (has ribbons, and large supplies such as heat embosser, etc. in large drawers below)
Papers, Misc. Supplies and Toys
Storage Area
Stamps in the Green Bins
Chipboard Alphabets
Scraps, Mat Stacks, 8.5 x 11 Paper
Ink Pads, Ink Spots, Stickers
Woven, Adhesive, Misc.

How fun Anna! You are going to have so much fun in there. Over the summer I did the same thing. Although things had to change now, I loved my "own spot" and I got so many pages done. Enjoy your space!
yeah Anna! I'm so happy for you and your organized space! I wished mine were looking more organized these days!(sigh)
oh well. I'm moving soon anyway! See you soon!
I LOVE it! So when are we having scrapbook night at your house?
It looks fabulous! You should come to our enrichment and help teach us about organization! I am mulling over some "design ideas" for my littl abode. I don't know what will happen (or who will be mad) when I am done!
so organized and so cute!
