Poor Jackson fell down consistently about every ten seconds. Nonetheless, he did a great job and kept popping right back up. We spent about an hour and a half skating and falling and enjoying every minute of it. It was so fun to have a special afternoon with just "Jackson and Mommy". It brings back memories of the four years we had being buddies before Andrew joined the crew. So yeah, it was fun, but it was cold, and I'm more than happy to retire from skating rinks until next season!

Oh yeah - and he kept telling me that he "meant" to fall - he hates the idea of looking silly in front of people!

That is so cute Anna! I will have to take Melanie next year I think. And the rest of my family for that matter!! haha. I'm glad you had a blast, and some much needed mommy and me time!
I have to say I don't ever intend to promise to go to the ice skating rink! lol! (Jenn promised her girls the same thing and it took her a few YEARS to actually do it!) It looks like you guys had a lot of fun!
i wanted to go this year, too. i love to skate and outside would be so fun! the pics are too cute.
